The Institute for Social Science in the 21st Century (ISS21), the School of Applied Social Studies, and the Department of Food Business & Development, University College Cork, will host a week-long Summer School in June 2012 on the theme of conceptualising and measuring poverty.

Postgraduate students and academics, researchers, staff of statutory and voluntary bodies, community activists, and all those with an interest in evaluating and engaging with research in the area of poverty and social inclusion
