The University of Chicago Law School trains international scholars in the methods of Law and Economics, and their application to other legal systems. 

The 2012 Chicago Summer School in Law and Economics is intended exclusively for Chinese scholars interested in law and economics and in policy study. The theme of the 2012 program is Property Rights and Private Law.

The Summer School will take place on July 9–20, 2012, at the University of Chicago Law School campus.
