Conference Information

Applications for 2009 Graduate Student Travel grants are now being accepted.

Paper, session and poster submissions are now closed.  If you have questions about a previously-submitted paper, session, or poster, please communicate with the 2009 SSHA network representatives.

SSHA 2009 will be held in Long Beach, California on the historical Queen Mary ocean liner.  A revised 2009 Call for Papers is now available.  SSHA President Julia Adams is also hosting a temporary page at Yale with more information about the 2009 conference.

Information on SSHA committee meetings, member-initiated meetings, and participant guidelines will be available in summer 2009.

The ICPSR Summer Program workshop "Longitudinal Analysis of  Historical Demographic Data" will be held July 20 - August 14 in Ann Arbor, MI.

The Jerome M. Clubb Scholarship for the Study of Quantitative Historical Analysis supports advanced graduate student participation in ICPSR's Quantitative Historical Analysis Workshop.

2009 Allan Sharlin Memorial Award
