Indonesia Symposium on Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience

Leaders from academics, government, commerce, and non-profit organizations will come together for a multi-level discussion on the issue of disaster risk reduction and resilience in the Asia-Pacific region with a special focus on Indonesia. The symposium will provide an understanding of the challenges of disaster risk reduction and resilience in Indonesia, set achievable goals towards resilience, and determine how to link approaches with climate change adaptation and sustainable development. Sharing know-how, best practices and lessons learned will be a central focus of the symposium and related workshops.
