Information Sheet for Applicants
Dear Applicant,
You have been nominated to apply for the second Asian Forum on Global Governance– an intensive 10 day program that will take place from October 14 to 24, 2012 in New Delhi, India. The Asian Forum on Global Governance is organized annually by the ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius, and the Observer Research Foundation.
The Asian Forum on Global Governance, 2012, will take a close look on the Asian region and at the challenges facing the global community. The Selection Committee will invite approximately forty participants from all over the world – young people who are working in very diverse fields such as politics, business, civil society, academia and the media.
The aim of the Asian Forum on Global Governance is to build an international network of young leaders and to foster leadership qualities in the participants by involving them in a wide-ranging dialogue on current social, political and economic themes. The participants will be between 28 and 35 years of age. They would already have acquired significant professional experience and exhibit promise in their respective fields.
The program provides a unique opportunity to interact with high-ranking figures from the political, business and academic communities from around the globe, particularly from Asia.
