East Asian Law and Society Conference 2011

The Collaborative Research Network on East Asian Law and Society (CRN-EALS), Law andSociety Association, and its Korean co-organizers cordially invite scholars, researchers, and practitioners to participate at the 2nd East Asian Law and Society Conference to be held on 30 September and 1 October 2011 at Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. The CRN-EALS has been organized to provide a forum for intellectual dialogue and collaborations between socio-legal scholars engaged in Northeast- and Southeast Asia-related studies and scholars seeking to enrich their research with findings from these regions. The co-organizers hope to build on the success of the inaugural East Asian Law and Society Conference, convened by the CRN-EALS in Hong Kong last year with over 150 participants from around the world.
