王国斌、王铭铭、王柯加盟高研院
2009年6月和12月，王国斌、王铭铭、王柯三位教授以特聘讲座教授身份正式加盟复旦大学社会科学高等研究院。同时，王铭铭教授兼任复旦大学当代中国研究中心副主任和特聘研究员，王柯教授兼任复旦大学当代中国研究中心副主任。
王国斌（R. Bin Wong），复旦大学社会科学高等研究院特聘讲座教授。美籍华裔，尔湾加州大学历史系教授，本科毕业于密歇根大学经济学系，进入哈佛大学后，师从著名历史学家“哈佛学派”费正清先生和孔飞力先生，在欧洲史和中国史的研究领域都颇有建树。他辗转于经济学和历史学之间，用历史学解读经济学，用欧洲史解读中国史，是崛起的“加州学派”的主要代表人物。
王铭铭，现任复旦大学社会科学高等研究院特聘讲座教授、复旦大学当代中国研究中心特聘研究员兼副主任，北京大学人类学教授。福建泉州人，1962年3月14日生。现任北京大学社会学人类学研究所教授、博导。1987年10月—1993年1月，英国伦敦大学人类学博士研究生，1985年9月—1987年6月，厦门大学人类学系硕士研究生，1981年9月—1985年6月，厦门大学人类学系本科生。
从研究生期间开始译介西方人类学理论，博士论文期间专门研究城市仪式、时间—空间象征及国家与社会关系，博士后期间转向乡村研究与理论研究，曾在闽台三村、一市中从事长期田野调查，撰述大量中文论著，致力于中国人类学研究，在社会文化人类学理论、区域研究、宗教人类学、文化研究等领域有研究专长。目前除继续既有研究脉络外，开始关注中国历史上的异文化叙述及海外民族志及文化展示研究。现已发表中文学术专著18部，英文专著1部，译著3 部，主编论文集7部，及大量中外文核心期刊论文。
王柯，Born in 1956 ,China．Graduated from The Central University for Nationalities in 1982 with B.A., in 1987 with M.A. in Law. After teaching at The Central University for Nationalities, and then serving at the Ministry of Culture of People’s Republic of China, moved to Japan in 1988. Graduated from School of Arts and Sciences, University of Tokyo in 1991 with M.A., in 1994 with Ph.D. Before being appointed to the current position in the Graduate School of intercultural Studies at Kobe University in 2001, had been teaching there as an associate professor since 1996.
